How Many People Have Visited My Page?

September 20, 2011

The Bucketlist. . .

1. Own my sexy sports car.
2. Eventually have my dream man.
3. Have kids that will make me proud.
4. Have immense amounts of money to be financially stable in life.
5. Be able to give back to my family the simple luxuries they have given to me.

*THESE THINGS AREN'T IN CORRECT ORDER BUT WHICHEVER HAPPENS FIRST THEN ITS FINE WITH ME!!!

I think these things will make my life complete because when i was volunteering at a nursing home close to my house there was alot of old people saying "My life is complete." I knew what they meant too. They were saying they already did everything in life that they wanted to. I grew a bond with these people and it made me kind of sad when administration said i couldn't volunteer there anymore because of a change in there criminal requirements. These people are the most happiest and all they want to do is spend time with there families because they know its almost time. One thing i absolutely hated was the environment and the way they were treated. There rooms were like jail cells, food was nasty, they never left the building even if they wanted to go for a little stroll outside, and the smelled like death. But i know that without all of the things i mentioned they were still the happiest and the most calm people i have ever met. That is how i want to feel when i get old and my time is near. NO TIME FOR REGRETS!!!

  1. I understand what you mean by having that feeling, i also what to be like them saying that not really the environment because of the way there treated. I feel the same when i see my great grandma. I know she did by the story she tells me.

  2. I know how you feel because I volunteered at the nursing home too. The people there are so nice and all they ant is a little company. I could't imagine going day by day without being with my family or talking with my friends. They love to talk to you and they are very humble. I believe if they make the place more inviting then more people would want to come.
They are content with where they are in their life so there are therefore successful.

  3. I definitely see where you are coming from! My neighbors are an elderly couple and they are too adorable!! They have an RV on the side of their house and they have a picture diagram on the back with all the fifty states, and the ones they've been to are highlighted. Yeah they like company and I usually come over their place to ask if they need an extra hand or something!! I kinda pop in sometimes, because they give me some home made sweet tea that is delish :D!

  4. I want to be able to give back to my family as well. I know that without them I would not be were I am or who I am today. I also want to be happy without regrets when I am old too.
